Which tread pattern?

Match the pattern to the ground you work, not the picture you like:

• C-Lug — gravel, concrete, wet clay. The do-everything pattern.
• Block — hard surfaces and forestry. Longest wear life of the bunch.
• Z-Lug / Bar — mud, snow, loose dirt. Maximum bite when it’s sloppy.
• Turf — finished lawns. Grips without tearing up the grass.

Read your old track

The size is molded right into the rubber on the inside face: width × pitch × link count, like 400x86x52. That’s 400 mm wide, 86 mm between lugs, 52 links around. Match those three numbers and you’ve matched the track.

Serial number breaks

Some machines changed link counts mid-production. The Bobcat T870 ran 58 links, then switched to 60 at a serial break — same model name, different track. Check the size stamped on your current track before you order — that’s how you get the right one the first time.
